I have seen the book but do not have a copy. Why not see if they have a copy in the Derbyshire Record Office, or use inter library loans.

The Bunting Society hold a tree back to Joseph the father of Samuel born 1777 in Crich

There are early Buntings in Kent, Derbyshire, Gloucestershire, Norfolk and Essex. THey appear to be all separate families. You need to look at the Origins of Surnames.

I have looked at this tree but cannot find the evidence to support it.

Have you been in contact with the descendants of Jabez in London or New Zealand?

There are no descendants, None of this family had issue.

The article in the journal was written by our late president George H Bunting. I suspect he found it in records from the Derbyshire Record Office.
